Cambridge BioResource take part in the Big Weekend

The NIHR Cambridge BioResource took part in the Cambridge Big Weekend on Saturday 9th July, a free public event of stalls, entertainment and fireworks.

This year the theme was Health and Wellbeing, where Addenbrooke’s Hospital ran stalls as part of their 250thanniversary celebrations. The event included yoga, the smoothie bike and displays on health information and research.

The Cambridge BioResource also took part by bringing their BioResource van, giving out information about their work and how to become a volunteer.

It was a successful event for the Cambridge team, throughout the day they received lots of enquiries and new people signing up. See our Facebook page for some of the photos taken on the day.
