Addenbrooke's Anniversary 250th Open Day

last modified Mar 09, 2016 09:30 AM

We are pleased to announce that we are taking part in the Addenbrooke’s 250th Anniversary Open Day which shares the last day of the University of Cambridge Science Festival on the campus on Sunday 20th March.

We will have displays with lots of information about the Cambridge BioResource and how you can sign up as a volunteer.

There will also be lots of information and stalls on research, including a lecture from the NIHR Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Professor John Bradley. He will be talking about the BRC, the research that takes place in Cambridge and what the future holds. Joining Professor Bradley, will be Professor Patrick Chinnery, Professor of Neurology and Head of the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Cambridge, who will be talking about his work. Free tickets can be booked here.

Come and meet the people behind your local hospital and see how research plays its part at Addenbrooke's. Click here for more information about the 250th Anniversary Open Day.
