Cambridge BioResource celebrates 10th birthday

We had a great turn out at Sunday’s event, celebrating the 10th birthday of the Cambridge BioResource.

Over 400 people came to visit the Cambridge Corn Exchange to learn about the Cambridge BioResource and health research.

Eleanor Mawbey-Adamson, Acting Manager said: “The event was a celebration of 10 years since the launch of the Cambridge BioResource. This was an opportunity to thank our volunteers for joining and taking part in health research.

The BioResource has come a long way since its launch and we are proud to have over 16,000 volunteers on the panel to date. We had an amazing turnout and it gave volunteers the chance to find out how valuable their contribution to research has been from the researchers themselves.

It has also been great to see many new faces coming along to learn about what we do and how they can get involved.”
